Privacy

This site sets no cookies, and its pages load nothing from any other site.

The one exception is the live menu on the menus case study, which loads from menu.fyt.life only when you tap it. That site may then store files in your browser.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which logs each visitor’s IP address for security.

The request form asks for your name, your email and what you want built, and, if you like, what kind of project it is and when you need it. Your request goes through Formspark, which emails it to me. Formspark also records the IP address it came from and the rough location that address points to, and keeps both for 12 months. It keeps the name of your browser and the page you sent it from with the request.

Formspark keeps a copy of your request until I delete it, and I delete it whenever you ask.

Effective October 1, 2026.

Accessibility

I aim for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

I check each of the site’s main pages with an automated test in Chrome, at phone and desktop sizes, in light and dark mode, and with JavaScript on and off. It checks that:

  • You can reach every link, button and form field with the Tab key, and each shows a visible focus ring. Pictures that repeat the link beside them are skipped.
  • Text stands out from its background by at least the contrast WCAG AA asks for.
  • Links, buttons and form fields are at least 44 pixels tall, and every field has a label.
  • Animations and transitions stop when your device asks for less motion.
  • No page scrolls sideways at five widths from 320 to 1440 pixels.
